Who we are
YexID provides identity verification to businesses. This policy covers visitors to our website and our business customers. For the people our customers verify, see our NDPA notice.
What we collect
Website and contact form: your name, email, subject and message. Customer accounts: business and contact details, KYB documents, wallet and payment records, and API usage records. Verification requests: the identifier you submit (for example a NIN) and the result we receive, kept only for the periods in the table below.
Why we use it
To provide and bill for the service, to review and secure accounts, to answer your messages, to meet legal duties, and to resolve disputes.
Who we share it with
A licensed verification partner (to run the checks you request), our payment provider, and our hosting and monitoring providers. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Each type of data has a fixed retention period, shown in the table below.
Your rights and contact
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to its use, or complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Contact [email protected].
